Prayagraj: On Wednesday, the Bar Association welcomed and felicitated the newly appointed judges of the High Court in the historic Library Hall of the High Court Bar Association. Justice Ajay Kumar, Justice Prashant Mishra, Justice Padma Narayan Mishra, Justice Laxmi Kant Shukla, Justice Jai Prakash Tiwari, Justice Devendra Singh, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Vinay Kumar Dwivedi, and Justice Rajiv Bharti were welcomed by the Bar. The program was presided over by Senior Advocate Rakesh Pandey, President of the High Court Bar Association, and conducted by General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma. The program began with the lighting of a lamp at the statue of Goddess Saraswati by all the judges and the executive committee, including President Rakesh Pandey and General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma. The judges were welcomed with garlands, bouquets, robes, and the presentation of a Kuber tree. Justice Vinay Kumar Dwivedi remarked that this is a meaningful and commendable initiative aimed at enhancing harmony between the Bar and the Bench. Justices and advocates are two wheels of the same chariot. Justice Sanjiv Kumar stated that providing speedy justice to litigants with the support of lawyers is my priority. Justice Devendra Singh stated that it is impossible to pass any judgment on the dais without the assistance of lawyers. Justice Padma Narayan Mishra stated that it is everyone’s duty to provide accessible and speedy justice to litigants. Justice Jai Prakash Tiwari stated that with your support, I will continue to have the opportunity to learn. Justice Rajiv Bharti stated that it is a privilege to be honored by the High Court Bar Association. Justice Prashant Mishra stated that he will always strive to maintain the respect and affection that exists between us. Judicial work will be conducted with your cooperation, ensuring speedy justice for litigants. Justice Ajay Kumar stated that justice is impossible without the support of lawyers. Justice Laxmi Kant Shukla stated that if he continues to receive the support of lawyers during judicial work, he will continue to perform his duties with complete impartiality and honesty.

General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma expressed his gratitude, saying that such programs establish harmony between the bar and the bench. He is confident that you will provide unprecedented support in establishing judicial transparency and discipline. President Rakesh Pandey said that laws are changing daily, so we all have to stay updated daily. Joint Secretary Press Rameshwar Dutt Pandey RD said that the Advocate Diary published by the High Court Bar Association was also released and the diary was distributed to all the judges.
