Prayagraj: The grand and inspiring mega-drama presentation titled “Karmayogini Mata Ahilya” was staged on Friday at North Central Zone Cultural Centre (Auditorium), on occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Mata Ahilyabai Holkar, the great ruler, mother of people and a living symbol of Karmayoga. The epic drama powerfully presented the inspiring life of Mata Ahilyabai Holkar, her sacrifice, service, good governance, and vision for public welfare. Her life journey from childhood to reign, her commitment to social harmony, her contribution to the restoration of religious and cultural sites, and her ideals of women’s empowerment were vividly depicted in theatrical language. On this august occasion, Jyoti Narayan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Prayagraj Zone, Uttar Pradesh graced the event as the Chief Guest and Ajay Kumar Mishra, IPS, Inspector General of Police (IG) Prayagraj Zone, Uttar Pradesh graced the event as the Special Guest.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vinod Narayan Indurkar, President of CCRT, New Delhi. Under his guidance and visionary leadership, this epic drama was conceived and directed, providing a powerful cultural expression of the glorious legacy of Mata Ahilyabai Holkar. Also present on this occasion were Ashutosh, Deputy Director General and Program Coordinator of the Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Mr. Bhagwan Verma, Deputy Director General, Dr. Julesha Siddharth, author of this epic play and Regional Officer, and Devaram Meghwal, Regional Officer. Their gracious presence, active participation, and coordinating contributions played a crucial role in the successful, well-organized, and effective organization of the program.
