Rural youth most neglected, PSP to upholds their rights: Engr Sunil Kushwaha
Prayagraj: As part of the “Youth Demands Employment Yatra,” a campaign being run by the Pragatisheel Samaj Party, the Yatra reached the rural areas of Prayagraj, including Phaphamau, Hathigahan, and Nawabganj. A large number of rural youth, students, and local citizens participated in street corner meetings and expressed their anguish and anger over the issue of employment.
Addressing the street meetings, Pragatisheel Samaj Party National President, Engineer Sunil Kushwaha, said that rural youth in the country and the state are the most neglected today. Youth engaged in agriculture, ITI, diploma, and degree holders, lack permanent employment and no concrete government plans. “Youth Demands Employment” is not just a slogan, but the true voice of rural India. Kushwaha called on rural youth to join this movement and fight for their own future. He urged them to rise above caste, religion, and region and unite on the issue of employment, making the January 23rd Rozgar Panchayat historic. Meanwhile, Youth Front State General Secretary Nishtha Dev said that unemployment in rural areas has forced migration. The government is showing employment figures, but the reality on the ground is different. The objective of the “Youth Demands Employment” Yatra is to reach out to every village, raising awareness among youth, and motivating them to stand up for their rights.
