Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers’ Association organized a felicitation program in the auditorium of Colonelganj Inter College on the unanimous re-election of the organization’s state president, Suresh Tripathi, as the state president. More than 500 teachers/principals from every corner of the district attended the felicitation program. The program was presided over and conducted by the organization’s district president, Anuj Kumar Pandey. Along with the felicitation program, on the death anniversary of the organization’s founder and leader of teachers’ struggles, the most revered Om Prakash Sharma, everyone garlanded and offered floral tributes to his statue. In his address on this occasion, Suresh Kumar Tripathi said that the contribution of the most revered Om Prakash Sharma to the teachers’ movement is unforgettable. He took teachers to new heights of achievements. The teachers have given me this responsibility of state president and I will try to fulfill the expectations of the teachers to the best of my ability. In his address, District President Anuj Kumar Pandey said that it is a matter of pride for Prayagraj district that Suresh Kumar Tripathi has been elected as the state president of the organization for the second time.
