Prayagraj: The District Panchayat auditorium witnessed a unique confluence of religion and patriotism on Saturday. The Shaurya Gatha program, presented by renowned storyteller Acharya Shantanu Maharaj, offered a seamless flow of spirituality and patriotism. Devotees were introduced to the country’s glorious history and the valor of great men. During the story, Acharya Shantanu enthralled the thousands of devotees present in the pandal with his powerful speech. Emphasizing the role of religion in nation-building, he said, “Religion and nation are two sides of the same coin. It is impossible to imagine a strong nation without understanding its roots and the sacrifices of great men.” During his speech, the entire venue reverberated with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” The program was officially inaugurated by chief organizers Ravi Singh and Alok Tiwari with a collective aarti of Bharat Mata and the lighting of lamps. Many prominent figures from power and organizations graced this spiritual platform. Chief guest former MLC Brijesh Singh and Minister of State with independent charge Dinesh Dubey. Special guests Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, District President Sanjay Gupta, former Judge Rajesh Agarwal. Enlightened citizens of the city, social workers and a large number of dignitaries were present. Organizer Ravi Singh, while throwing light on the objective of the program, said that in the present times it is very important to introduce the young generation to the real heroes of India and their struggles. This event is a meaningful step in this direction. In this program which continued till late evening, thousands of devotees received the blessings of Acharya ji and took a pledge to serve the nation.
