Next date of Hanuman Katha to be announced after Navratri

Prayagraj: The grand Hanuman Katha of Baba Bageshwar Dham Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji, proposed on March 7 by Prayag Utthan Samiti, has been postponed. Committee Chairman Dr. Uday Pratap Singh said that due to the expected gathering of lakhs of devotees in the grand Hanuman Katha of Baba Bageshwar Dham Pandit Dhirendra Shastri Ji at the Parade Ground on March 7, the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate and High School examinations would have been affected, causing inconvenience to the students appearing for the board examinations. Therefore, keeping in mind the interest of the board examinees, the committee has decided to postpone the grand Hanuman Katha to be held on March 7 at the Parade Ground.

Giving further information, the Vice President and spokesperson of the committee, Rajesh Kesarwani said that Hanuman Katha has only been postponed and not cancelled and the next date will be announced after Nav Samvatsara year 2083 Navratri and the registration of those women who have registered for Mangal Kalash Yatra to be held for the Katha has been secured and they need not worry in any way, the process will automatically come into place as soon as the next date of the Katha is announced.
