Prayagraj: On the instructions of the State Congress, condolences were expressed to the family members on Monday afternoon after Shiksha Mitra Akhilesh Kumar Savita, a resident of Fatehpur, who was engaged in BLO work and committed suicide due to excessive workload in SIR. During this, a demand was made to the District Magistrate Fatehpur that the deceased’s wife and another member of the family should be given a government job, Rs 50 lakh compensation and Rs 10 lakh assistance for the marriage to be held next week. It is known that Savita has held the Election Commission responsible for his death in the suicide note. The delegation included the presidents of Fatehpur District and City Congress Committees, along with City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi, Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Ashfaq Ahmed, Devraj Upadhyay, District and City Presidents of Kaushambi, Kanpur, Amethi, Raebareli.
A large police force was present before the Congress members reached Savita’s residence. The Congress members condemned the house arrest by the administration at the behest of the frightened BJP government of the state before the President of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee and former Minister Ajay Rai went to the house of the deceased Savita to express his condolences, calling it the murder of democracy by the arrogant government.
