Prayagraj: A mass wedding ceremony organized under the auspices of the Sarva Vaishya Chetna Samiti, Uttar Pradesh, concluded with great pomp and social enthusiasm on Sunday. Held at the Gulab Mansion Hotel in Badi Station, 14 couples tied the knot and their marriages were solemnized according to Vedic rituals in the presence of thousands of people.

As part of the program, the wedding procession started from the Jain temple and reached the wedding venue, Gulab Mansion Hotel, located at Badi Station, via Chowk, Ghantaghar, Kotwali and Nakaskona. People from the community welcomed the procession all along the way. At the wedding venue, in the presence of learned pundits, amidst chanting of Vedic mantras, the bride and groom took seven rounds and started their new life. Chief guests at the ceremony were Honorable V.C. Dixit (High Court Judge) and Honorable Shyam Lal Pal (State President, Samajwadi Party).

On this occasion, Shyam Lal Pal said that such mass wedding ceremonies are extremely important for the oppressed and vulnerable sections of society. He added that Hari Om Sahu is continuously organizing such social events successfully, spreading the message of cooperation and harmony in society. He added that such events are in keeping with the socialist system and the spirit of social equality.

National President Hari Om Sahu blessed the newlyweds and wished them a happy married life. He said that the committee presented the newlyweds with 46 types of household gifts, including gold and silver jewelry, beds, wardrobes, and televisions, so that they could start their new lives smoothly.
