Prayagraj: On the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Social reformer Kanshi Ram and under the Swasthya Srijan Abhiyan, a free medical camp was organized today at Kesarwani Homeopathic Clinic, Mutthiganj from 10 AM to 2 PM. The camp was held under the coordination of Dr. Arpandar Dubey, President of the City Congress Medical Cell, and under the chairmanship of City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi. The camp was inaugurated by former Mayor Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh. During the camp, patients suffering from diabetes, blood pressure, obesity, stress, anxiety, and malnutrition were examined by doctors.
Doctors including Dr. Arpandar Dubey, Dr. Rahul Kesarwani, Dr. Ajay Dhar Dubey, and Dr. Mahesh Yadav provided their medical services at the camp. Dr. Arpandar Dubey advised people to maintain good health by taking a balanced diet, doing 30 to 40 minutes of exercise and yoga daily, getting 7 to 8 hours of sound sleep, and drinking adequate water, which are essential for both mental and physical health.
During the camp doctors from the area provided free health check-ups, consultations, and necessary medicines so that needy people could receive better healthcare. It was also stated that the Congress Party has always raised its voice for the health, dignity, and rights of the poor, the weak, and the needy sections of society. With the same spirit, this public service campaign is being organized.
On this occasion, former spokesman UPCC, Kishore Varshney informed that such health camps will continue to be organized in the future as well. At the beginning of the programme, they paid floral tribute to the portrait of Kanshi Ram by garlanding and remembered his contribution to social transformation.
