Eid al-Fitr prayers to be offered in old clothes: Eid celebration with simplicity at home
Women will also not adorn themselves and not wear new clothes or bangles
Prayagraj: With the completion of thirty days of the holy month of Ramadan, Indian Muslims who had the honour of offering five Friday prayers and two Jummatul Wida prayers, prayed with both hands raised in the court of God on the last Ramadan and last Friday, in which the special prayers were for keeping India safe from evil eyes, keeping it safe from the curses of enemies, abundance in sustenance, recovery from illness, good children for the childless, employment for the unemployed, prosperity in business and forgiveness of the deceased.
The moon of Eid was sighted but distance from happiness remained: The thirty days of the month of Ramadan were completed and the moon of Eid ul Fitr was also sighted but the Muslims, hurt by the killing of innocent girls due to the war between Israel and America with Iran, had already announced that everyone would celebrate Eid in any case but with simplicity. All India Shia Council and the big scholars of Ahle Sunnat Jamaat from all over the country also issued an appeal to the Islamic world to wear black bands on their arms and not wear new clothes on Eid this time. According to Syed Mohammad Askari, General Secretary of Ummul Banin Society, the prayers of Eid ul Fitr will be offered in all the big and small mosques, Eidgah Shia and Sunni Jama Masjid at the pre-decided time.
