VIAV’s purpose to ensure when someone in distress, he is not left alone: Nandi
A small effort by Vaishya International Association “VIAV”, which is run to help the people of Vaishya community, with the support of Uttar Pradesh Government’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Haldiram, Kent RO as well as many reputed entrepreneurs of the country, proved to be a lifeline as well as a turning point for the family of CA Vikas Garg and Dr. Sarika Garg, who lived in West Vihar, Delhi, who were burdened with debt. The CA family not only got relief due to the payment of loan to the defaulters by Vaishya International Association, but CA Vikas Garg also got his job back. CA Vikas Garg along with his entire family has expressed gratitude for getting their derailed life back on track with the help of Vaishya International Association.
The family of CA Vikas Garg and Dr. Sarika Garg, who lived in a rented house in Paschim Vihar, Delhi, was facing many problems for the past few years. CA Vikas Garg lost his job due to a serious illness. Due to which the family’s income almost stopped. In the compulsion of running the house, he started a property business by investing his hard earned savings, but got trapped in the trap of wrong people and almost his entire savings were invested in it. To get out of the property business, he borrowed money from here and there and took loan on interest, which reached up to 13 lakhs. Pressure started mounting from creditors. He even started getting threats from some big financiers.
The children’s education, the elderly’s care, and even daily expenses became overwhelming. The family was completely devastated. Meanwhile, upon learning of the support being provided by the Vaish International Association, the CA’s family reached out to VIAV officials. After understanding the entire situation, the committee of Vaishya International Association realized that if help was not provided in time, something untoward could happen. The committee decided to free the family from this debt burden. They called all the creditors and settled their entire outstanding debt of approximately Rs. 12.40 lakh. Today, the family is debt-free. Peace reigns in the home, and the children have smiles on their faces. After being relieved of their debt, CA Vikas Garg has also secured a job with the ICAI.
