Prayagraj: The names of the office bearers of the Mahanagar, Yamunapar and Gangapar organization were announced from the BJP party office on Saturday. The party has again given big responsibility to Vandana Sharma. Keeping in view the assembly elections to be held next year, the party has also given importance to the caste equation. Along with this, women have also been given place in the executive. Some office bearers in Prayagraj Mahanagar were also successful in saving their place. At the same time, eight vice presidents have been made in the new list. The names of Anand Srivastava, Kunj Bihari Mishra, Pramod Modi, Pramod Kumar Singh, Anil Kesarwani, Anuj Kushwaha, Anand Sonkar, Vandana Sharma are included in this.

A top BJP leader, who is privy to the developments ahead of 2027 polls, claimed that Vandana Sharma appointment follow the BJP’s increased focus on “Nari Shakti” (Women’s Power), with party leaders highlighting that women are increasingly leading key positions in BJP-ruled states, symbolizing a shift toward mainstreaming women in political leadership.
