Prayagraj: Chaupal was organized under the ‘MNREGA Bachao Sangram’ campaign by the Congress Party in Gram Sabha Raiya of Holagarh.  Chief guest of the program, Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed alleged that the present BJP government is conspiring to abolish the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). He said that efforts are being made to snatch away the rights of rural labourers. During Chaupal, Ahmed also took the government to task over potato farmers not getting fair price for their crop, rising inflation and unemployment. Congress leaders opposed the efforts to change the name of MNREGA to ‘Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji’ and called it injustice to the poor. Condemned the injustice being done to MNREGA workers. The people are struggling with gas problems and the BJP government is silent. The program was presided over by Assembly in-charge Nisha Singh and Block President Panchu Pasi. On this occasion, Medical Cell Chairman Dr.Amar Singh Patel, District General Secretary Sunil Pandey, Warroom Incharge Saddam Hussain Siddiqui, Hridayand Yadav, Ansar Ali Sonu, Ajay Saroj, Makkhan Lal Saroj, Sunil Kumar, Shyam Kumar, Akash Kumar, Harikesh Yadav, Sachin Pasi, Santosh Yadav, Vikas Kumar, Pintu Saroj, Naveen Kumar, Manjesh Kumar, Ram Bahadur Yadav, Chhedi Yadav, Md.
