Prayagraj, Bamrauli: A grand event was organized on the occasion of “Earth Day” on Wednesday on the campus of Christ Jyoti Convent School located at Mandar Mod. During this, school children spread the message of environmental protection through various activities and took a pledge to save the earth.
The highlight of the program was an English skit presented by fifth-grade students. During a special assembly, the children used this skit to raise awareness among the audience about the dangers of global warming and pollution. Through the skit, the students effectively conveyed the message “Plant Trees, Save the Earth,” which was greatly appreciated by those present. A dance performance related to environmental awareness was also performed.
School Principal Sister Somani planted a tree on the occasion and, addressing the students, said, “Our current generation is becoming more environmentally conscious. We can make the earth green again through small habits like saving electricity, limiting plastic use, and planting more trees. Even a small contribution from each individual can lead to a major victory against pollution.”
At the end of the program, all the students, teachers, and staff of the school unanimously pledged to protect the Earth and keep the environment clean. The school’s Vice Principal, Sister, and all the teachers were present on this occasion.
