Prayagraj: Thieves stole the battery from a generator installed outside the residence of a lawyer and owner of Data Experts, located on Tashkent Road in the Prayagraj Civil Lines police station area. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The incident occurred on April 17th, but the police have not yet filed a report. The police booth and outpost are located 10 steps away from the site of the incident, and the lawyer has expressed his anger over the failure to file a report. According to information, Advocate Aftab Ahmed, a resident of Tashkent Road (Patrika Square) in the said police station area, has opened an institute for training children under the name Data Experts. He lives with his family on the third floor of the institute. The former minister’s residence is located just next to his residence. There is also a police booth 10 steps away, and the two outposts are 100 meters apart. It is reported that on April 17th, at around 5:00 am, a vicious gang of thieves stole the battery, radiator, and other items from the generator installed outside his residence. When the incident was reported in the morning, the Civil Lines police station and Hanuman outpost were immediately informed. Information was given to the temple and the Public Service Commission outpost. When the police saw the CCTV from the spot, the face of the thief seen stealing from the generator was clearly visible. Advocate Aftab Alam alleges that even after 6 days, the police neither registered his report nor made any concrete effort to catch the thieves. On the other hand, after this incident, there is anger among the advocates against the police. The advocates warned that if the incident is not exposed as soon as possible, then a complaint will be lodged with the Police Commissioner. It is noteworthy that the daily newspaper Data Expert News is published at the place where such a huge theft from the generator took place.
