BJP Mahila Morcha burns effigies of Rahul and Akhilesh

Prayagraj: BJP’s women wing protested against those responsible for the Women Empowerment Amendment Bill falling in the Parliament, through ‘Jan Aakrosh Mahila Protest’ against Samajwadi Party and Congress. This protest is not just against a bill but against the mentality that hesitates in giving women their rights. Congress has broken the trust of crores of women of the country by not passing the Women Reservation Bill. Today every woman of Prayagraj has given the message that if rights are snatched away then the voice will become louder. If women’s dignity is attacked then the struggle will become more fierce. This is a fight for rights and dignity and now the women of the country will not sit silent.

In the same sequence, today the BJP Mahila Morcha of Metropolitan Prayagraj gathered at Subhash Chowk in Civil Lines and burnt the effigies of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav while raising slogans against the Congress and the Samajwadi Party.

In the protest organized by Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha, Archana Shukla, Rita Singh, Chandra Ahluwalia, Neelam Tripathi, Priya Kaithwas, Soni Gupta, Anju Shukla, Anita Pandey, Neetu Kesarwani, Abha Bharti, Sunita Jaiswal, Seema Sagar, Sandhya Maurya, Dhruv Kumari and other women participated in the demonstration and effigy burning.
