Rotary North Cup U13 Football Tournament

Prayagraj: Today on the eighth day of Rotary Allahabad North Cup U13 Football Competition, Vishnu Bhagwan Public School got full points by defeating Northern Football Academy by 1-0 at the football ground of Vishnu Bhagwan Public School Jhalwa Prayagraj.

According to Organising Secretary Indranil Ghosh, the first half of today’s match was goalless. In the tenth minute of the second half, Vishnu Bhagwan’s Shivansh Patel scored a goal with a brilliant shot from the halfway line of the field, giving the team a one-goal lead.

The performances of Anant Pandey and Shivansh from Vishnu Bhagwan and Utkarsh, Rakshit and Johan from Northern were commendable. Shivansh Patel received the Player of the Match award from Organising Secretary Indranil Ghosh while Johan received the Emerging Player of the Match award.

Vishnu Bhagwan has played five matches so far and has scored nine points with two wins and three draws. Whereas Northern Football Academy has played the same number of matches and has a total of 12 points with four wins and one loss.
