Prayagraj: In connection with the shooting incident that took place last night with the intention of attempting to murder Advocate Rajneesh Kumar Singh, Allahabad High Court, he met with Prayagraj Police Commissioner Jogendra Singh and Additional Police Commissioner Ajay Pal Sharma on Thursday and submitted a memorandum demanding the strictest possible action against the perpetrators. During the meeting, he provided both respected officers with a detailed and systematic account of the incident. Both senior officers listened to all the facts with utmost sensitivity, seriousness, and patience. They immediately issued necessary directives to their subordinates. In particular, Ajay Pal Sharma, upon receiving information about the entire incident, reprimanded the relevant officers and directed them to immediately register an FIR and ensure the arrest of all the accused by this evening, setting a clear deadline. He also warned that if the perpetrators are not arrested by the stipulated time, appropriate legal and departmental action will be taken against the concerned officers, including the Station House Officer, Shivkuti. Advocate Rajneesh Kumar Singh expressed full confidence that the Prayagraj Police will arrest all the perpetrators and put them behind bars as soon as possible.
