Students worshipped mother and performed aarti, presentations based on mother power moved everyone

Prayagraj: ’Mother’s Day was celebrated with reverence and joy on Sunday at Rani Revati Devi Saraswati Vidya Niketan Inter College in Rajapur. The program began with the lighting of a lamp and prayers to Goddess Saraswati.

On this occasion, children worshipped their mothers’ feet. They applied tilak and performed aarti, and received blessings by offering sweets. Many mothers’ eyes welled up with tears during these emotional moments. The students performed songs based on the power of motherhood. Principal Satish Kumar Singh said, “A mother is the first teacher. Vidya Bharati’s goal is to provide a cultured education. Mother’s Day awakens a sense of gratitude toward mothers in children.” He welcomed all the mothers and requested their participation in school programs.

The program was conducted by Shishu Vatika head Pooja Mishra. It concluded with the distribution of Prasad. Members of the management committee, teachers, parents, and students were present. All the teachers, including Nidhi Rai, Chhaya Pandey, Tulika Ghosh, Kavita Pandey, and Archana Rai, contributed to the success of the program.
