Prayagraj: With the aim of all-round development of students through sports and extra-curricular activities, by going beyond the continuous process of studies and teaching, a 10-day free summer camp was inaugurated today on Thursday, May 14 at Khelgaon Public School. Students from classes pre-nursery to eighth are participating in this 10-day free summer camp. This free summer camp is organized from May 14 to 24. Around 1300 students from classes pre-nursery to eighth participated in the inauguration of the free summer camp. Around 500 parents were also present.
Speaking at the inauguration, the school’s chairman, Dr. U.K. Mishra, said that exercise is very beneficial for health. This free summer camp lays the foundation for personality development, but only regular year-round practice will yield positive results. The school’s Vice Chairman, Anil Mishra, highlighted the students’ academic and athletic achievements. He also said that for personality development, one should participate in sports and extracurricular activities along with education. This summer camp will help students boost their self-confidence.
Like previous years, this year too, boys and girls will be trained in various disciplines by experienced trainers in the summer camp. They will be trained by coaches and parents will be given training in yoga practice. Students will be given training in various sports disciplines like gymnastics, cricket, shooting, hockey, football, basketball, badminton, lawn tennis, chess, taekwondo, boxing, kabaddi, skating, aerobics, volleyball and athletics etc. in the summer camp.
