Prayagraj: Despite opposition to the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, a memorandum of condemnation was submitted to the Governor in the District Magistrate’s office by the Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Organization. Submitting the memorandum, Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Association District President Sunil Kesarwani Sonu and spokesperson Rajesh Kesarwani said that the Women’s Reservation Bill 2026, introduced by the Central Government to implement the Nari Shakti Vandan Act 2023, is a historic and visionary initiative. The implementation of this Act will ensure the voice of women across the country and strengthen their participation in the law-making process. The Nari Shakti Vandan Act is not just a law but a powerful tool for bringing positive change in society, strengthening women’s dignity, freedom, and self-reliance. This bill paves the way for women to secure greater participation in education, employment, security, and decision-making processes.

However, the opposition’s opposition to this Act, based solely on political gain, is unfortunate and insulting to women. The Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Association wishes to clarify that the issue of women’s rights is not a matter of any one party or ideology, but is an issue linked to the development and progress of the entire nation. Only when women are empowered can society and the nation be built. Therefore, it is the duty of every public representative and citizen to support such positive and progressive initiatives. Our organization strongly condemns the opposition’s opposition to the Nari Shakti Act and urges them to ensure the necessary resources, awareness campaigns, and monitoring mechanisms for effective implementation of this Act.

On this occasion, Rajesh Kesarwani, Rajendra Gupta Pintu, Rajkumar Kesarwani, Roshni Agarwal, Shatrughan Jaiswal, Ajay Agrahari, Rajesh Gupta, Gaurav Gupta etc. were present.
