Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court has issued a significant ruling in the case of Iftar on a boat in the Ganges. The court has granted bail to eight of the 14 people arrested in connection with the incident.

What was the whole matter? Recently, a video went viral on social media showing some young men breaking their fast while sitting on a boat in the middle of the Ganges. Police took swift action and arrested 14 people and sent them to jail.

The High Court’s stance: After receiving no relief from the lower court, the petitioners approached the Allahabad High Court. During the hearing, the Court granted bail to eight young men. They will soon be released from jail. Congress leader Irshad Ullah was present inside the court with his family.
