Prayagraj: The Shani Jayanti program was celebrated with great pomp on Shani Amavasya at Samaya Mai Temple in Katghar under the leadership of Councilor Neeraj Gupta. The program was started with worship by Vedic mantras and all the devotees listened to the story of Lord Shani Dev by priest Vishnu Pandey with full concentration and the Aarti of Shani Dev was performed with great pomp by ringing the bell and after that Imarti, black jam and moong dal pakora prasad were distributed.

On this occasion, many devotees including former councilor Pawan Srivastava and Vinod Sonkar, Himanshu Sonkar, Satya Jaiswal, Vishal Agrahari, former councilor Ruchi Gupta, Malti Kesarwani, Sangeeta Faguni, Kushagra Srivastava were present.
