Prayagraj: The Basic Guide Captain Training and Basic Ranger Leader Course organized by North Central Railway Headquarters Prayagraj from 15th May to 21st May 2026 at Bharat Scout and Guide Training Centre Mathura concluded with Sarvadharma prayer on 21st May 2026.

Organized under the aegis of North Central Railway, this training program provided training to 12 Basic Guide Captains and 8 Basic Ranger Leader participants under the Guide Wing. Ms. Jyoti Yadav, Assistant Trainer Leader Ranger (ALT/RANGER) and Mrs. Priyanka Maharaj, Assistant Leader Trainer/Guide Leader Ranger were nominated by the Bharat Scouts and Guides as Leaders of the Course (LOC) of the Guide Wing for the training.

Both trainers provided training to the participants in a very effective and practical manner. During the training, the supporting members Ms. Manju Joshi and Ms. Dimple Rajput (HWB Ranger Leader), Jyoti Kumari (HWB Guide) and Priyanka Kumari Rai (HWB Guide) trained the participants in important activities like compass and direction knowledge, first aid, search signs, pitching tents and cooking food on wood without utensils in adverse conditions.

Apart from the participants, a total of 50 members including assistant leaders, quarter and service staff participated in this training program.

The entire credit for the success of the course goes to the Leader of the Course, Mrs. Priyanka Maharaj and Ms. Jyoti Yadav, due to whose able guidance and dedicated efforts the training program was successfully completed.
