Prayagraj: An illegal gambling den is running rampantly in a room inside Kishan Chai Wala Ki Gali, located in Aiyapur, just behind the Mutthiganj police station. The workers who work day and night at this station are getting ruined by losing their hard earned money. Locals allege that despite the local administration being aware of this illegal business operating under the noses of the police, no action is being taken. This “gambling” has pushed many poor families to the brink of financial ruin. The question is: under whose protection is this betting business flourishing? The people of the area have demanded immediate intervention and raid from the higher authorities in this matter.
