Prayagraj: On the eve of Eid-e-Ghadir, in commemoration of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) declaring the first Imam Hazrat Ali ibn Abu Talib as his successor on his return from Hajj, people were invited by decorating the dastarkhwan with nazr-e-niaz along with celebratory gatherings in various Shia dominated areas including the Imambara situated at Karaili Dariyabad Rani Mandi Bakhshi Bazaar Chak Zero Road and happiness was shared by inviting people. On Friday, throughout the day, stalls will be set up at various places and cake will be cut with sherbet, sweets, samosa, chola and celebratory gatherings will also be organised in many areas. According to Syed Mohammad Askari, General Secretary of Ummul Baneen Society, a gathering will be held at Allama Javwadi’s residence in Karaili at 9 am, while celebratory gatherings have also been organised at Dargah Maula Ali and Dargah Hazrat Abbas.
