Prayagraj: State Co-ordinator of Bharatiya Janata Party NGO Cell, Rajnikanth Srivastava said that to mark the completion of 12 years of the Central Government, a public welfare and public awareness campaign on service, good governance, culture and respect is being run in the entire state from June 5 to June 21.

He said the campaign was launched with a tree-planting event on World Environment Day. Under the “One Tree for Mother” campaign, citizens are being encouraged to plant and protect trees. Public outreach programs, health fairs, development exhibitions, natural farming workshops, and public meetings will be organized as part of the campaign.

Rajnikant Srivastava said that efforts will be made to disseminate information about various government schemes and achievements to the last person in society. The campaign will conclude with yoga programs organized on June 21st, International Yoga Day.

Appealing to social organizations, voluntary organizations and youth for active participation in the campaign, he said that interested organizations and volunteers can join the campaign by contacting the helpline 9415970989.
