Prayagraj: Majlis of 8th Muharram was organised in Imambara Deputy Zahid Hussain located at Chak Zero Road. Maulana Syed Zameer Haider Rizvi mentioned the martyrdom of Ghazi Abbas, the flag bearer of the Hussaini army, in the Majlis. He said that from the third of Muharram, the Yazidi army had put a guard on the Nahar-e-Eurat, due to which there was not even a drop of water in the tent of Hussaini. The children were raising the slogans of Al-Atash Al-Atash. Ghazi Abbas had gone to fetch water from the Nahar-e-Eurat, where the Yazidi army wounded him with arrows and spears. The water pot which was filled with water was also pierced with arrows and Hazrat Abbas was martyred. Hearing this incident, the mourners started crying and sobbing.
The Majlis started with the mourning song of Manzarul Hindi. Later, the Majlis was decorated with rose flowers, red colour was applied to a white sheet and the Duldal and Parcham-e-Abbas were taken out for whose visit thousands of pilgrims gathered with the chants of Ya Ali Ya Hussain. There was intense mourning. Noha Khan Hasan Rizvi of Anjuman Haidaria recited Noha depicting the painful scene of Karbala, which brought tears to everyone’s eyes! Similarly, on the eighth of Muharram, a 20-year-old procession was taken out from Dariyabad, in which Maulana Amirur Rizvi made a sad mention of martyrdom, and Noha Khan Shahrukh Shabi Hasan of Anjuman Naqvia recited the Kalam of Raunak Safipuri!
On the ninth of the month of Muharram, Maulana Syed Zameer Haider will deliver the sermon at the ninth majlis of Ashara-e-Muharram at 11 am sharp in the Imambara Deputy Zahid Hussain situated at Chak Zero Road. After that, Jhula Hazrat Ali Asghar and Taboot Hazrat Ali Akbar will be taken out. Noha Khwaan Shah Bahadur, Yusha Bahadur and Guddu Bhai of Anjuman Hussainia Qadeem Dariyabad will raise the voice of Noha and mourning. At the same time, a procession will be taken out from Mirganj Imambara at 9 pm in which Anjuman Mohafiz-e-Aza Qadeem Dariyabad and Anjuman Abbasia Rani Mandi will participate.
