Prayagraj: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental conservation and a greener future, HUDSA (Human Upliftment, Development & Social Awareness) organized a large-scale tree plantation drive at Champatpur. Saplings of various native species were planted during the campaign to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and encouraging community participation.

On this occasion, Senior Advocate of the Allahabad High Court, Shri Rajendra Kumar Mishra “Babuan,” urged citizens to plant “One Plant in Mother’s Name” as a symbol of gratitude and responsibility towards both nature and motherhood. He emphasized that trees are not only a priceless gift of nature but also the foundation of a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for generations to come.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mani Shanker Dwivedi, Secretary of HUDSA, stated that environmental degradation has become one of the greatest global challenges of our time. He highlighted that rising pollution, climate change, and rapid deforestation pose serious threats to humanity. Dr. Dwivedi stressed that every citizen has a moral responsibility to understand the deep relationship between nature and human life, and to actively contribute to environmental conservation by planting and nurturing trees.

All participants pledged their commitment to protecting the environment and took part in the plantation drive with great enthusiasm. The programme was attended by P.K. Tiwari, Mahendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Gaya Prasad Gupta, Sumanyu Pandey, Dr. Akhilesh Dwivedi, Dr. Vikram Shukla, Rakesh Yadav, Ved Prakash Srivastava, Sanjay Pal, Yogendra Mishra, along with several distinguished citizens and social workers.
