Prayagraj: Patanjali Nursery School celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, devotion and festive fervour. The celebration beautifully depicted the life and divine leelas of Lord Krishna, bringing alive the spirit of the festival through a series of vibrant cultural performances.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Headmistress ma’am Vibha Srivastava, followed by the traditional ceremonial lighting of the diya. The little ones of KG and Prep presented Krishna Janam, portraying the divine birth of Lord Krishna with innocence and grace. The Nursery children added colour and joy to the celebration with their lively Badhai Dance. This was followed by the delightful Makhan Chori song presented by the KG and Prep classes, which captivated the audience.

The Prep class presented the fascinating Govardhan Leela, highlighting Lord Krishna’s divine act of protecting the people of Vrindavan. The KG and Prep children further enthralled the audience with a graceful Raas Leela, beautifully portraying the devotion and joy associated with Krishna.

The celebration also featured Vatsalya Viraha and Kans Vadh, presented by the Prep class, depicting important episodes from the life of Lord Krishna and conveying meaningful messages of love, courage and the triumph of good over evil. The programme was graced by Prof. G. S. Tomar, an eminent Ayurvedic scholar, academician and researcher, and President of Vishwa Ayurveda Mission, as the Chief Guest. His presence added significance to the celebration, and his address inspired the young learners and the gathering with his valuable words.

The programme concluded with an address by the management, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. The celebration was a beautiful blend of devotion, culture and creativity, leaving everyone with the message of love, righteousness and the victory of good over evil.
