Prayagraj: As part of the Indian Language Campaign, five thousand lawyers of the Allahabad High Court have pledged to sign in Hindi. The lawyers completed a pledge to this effect and submitted it to Raghavendra Shukla, a member of the campaign’s national executive. A meeting was held in this regard on Monday in the High Court premises.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Raghavendra Shukla said that a campaign is underway to promote Hindi in the Delhi High Court, with plans to involve 50,000 advocates. A resolution signed by the advocates will be submitted to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. He added that as a result of the efforts of the Bharatiya Bhasha Abhiyan, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has passed a resolution to practice Tamil in the courts there. The campaign aims to promote the use of local languages ​​in the country’s courts.
Ajay Kumar Mishra, the Kashi Province coordinator of the campaign, said that from 14th to 28th September, the Bharatiya Bhasha Abhiyan will organize programs in all the district courts and tehsils including the High Court in the Kashi province, in which working in Hindi will be promoted. The meeting was chaired by the President of the High Court unit, SP Shukla, and conducted by the coordinator, Pawan Kumar Rao. A large number of advocates including senior advocates CP Upadhyay, Anil Singh Bisen, Agnihotri Kumar Tripathi, Pradeep Jaiswar, Bhupendra Yadav, Shishir Srivastava, Abhishek Singh, Aman Singh Bisen, Rajiv Singh, Dinesh Singh Geeta Parihar, Seema Parihar were present in the meeting.
