Prayagraj: On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a seminar was organized at the Civil Defence office located in the court on Saturday. While presiding over the seminar, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence Neeraj Mishra said that although there is no post by the name of teacher in the Civil Defence department, yet the department expects that civil defence training should be provided to the local people, in this regard, Tiwari ji works as a master-trainer to teach civil defence subjects to the local people/volunteers/wardens. He praised the work being done by the volunteers at Rishikul Vidyalaya Rajapur in flood relief work. The Deputy Controller discussed with the volunteers/wardens on flood and Dadhikando Mela festival and guided them as per the instructions of the District Magistrate/Controller. Addressing the meeting, Senior Assistant Deputy Controller (Promoted Deputy Controller) Rakesh Kumar Tiwari explained the relevance of Teacher’s Day to the members of the Warden Service Corps, stating that only those who follow in the footsteps of society’s great men and live self-disciplined lives, according to their teachings, will be considered future great men, and their names will be written in golden letters in the pages of history. Addressing the seminar, Staff Officer Nagar L.K. Aherwar urged Civil Defence volunteers to fulfill their responsibilities by organizing camps for the upcoming Dadhikanda Fair, in accordance with the guidelines of the Question Hour. Deputy Divisional Warden of Colonelganj Block, Ashish Bajpai, conducted the seminar and urged the block team to remain on alert. Regarding the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Dadhikanda Fair by setting up a support camp, as in the past, Post Warden Pramod Kumar Yadav and Reserve Post Warden Bholeeshwar Nath Upadhyay stated that the historic Dadhikanda Festival in Salori will be held on September 12th, for which a post meeting has been called. Similarly, Deputy Post Warden Santosh Pandey informed that the fair of Teliyarganj is on 19th September, for this a camp will be set up after consulting with the senior wardens. Present in the seminar, Deputy Controller Neeraj Mishra, Staff Officer Nagar – L K Aherwar, Deputy Divisional Warden Ashish Bajpai, Staff Officer Nagendra Singh Asthana, Bharat Bhushan, Ajitendra, Pramod Yadav, Bholeeshwar Upadhyay, Santosh Pandey, Rajendra Srivastava, Chetan Arya, Praveen Pal, Kuldeep Jaiswal, Yograj Pandey, Om Prakash Shailendra, Prabhat Maurya congratulated Senior Assistant Sub Controller Rakesh Kumar Tiwari on his promotion to the post of Sub Controller and wished him all the best for his new responsibility.
