Prayagraj. Mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani inspected the fair area and the outpost route on Saturday to review the preparations for the Dadhikando Fair at Sulem Sarai. He instructed officials to complete all arrangements before the fair. The Mayor stated that there should be no shortage of cleanliness, street lighting, drinking water, toilets, and traffic along the fair route. He directed that hanging electrical wires be raised, debris be removed, drains and sewers be cleaned, leaks be repaired, and broken lids be replaced. He also directed that faulty streetlights be replaced and temporary lighting be installed.

The fair committee demanded the installation of 10 temporary toilets and 15 drinking water tankers. The mayor assured that all basic amenities would be provided for the convenience of the devotees. He also called for a special drive to capture stray animals.

The fair committee expressed satisfaction over the preparations of the Municipal Corporation and said that the Mayor would be felicitated after the successful organization of the fair.

During the inspection, Additional Municipal Commissioner Sadab Aslam, Chief Engineer Electricity Sanjay Katiyar, Zonal Officer, Councilor Dilip Kushwaha, Fair President Piyush Kesarwani, Narendra Kheda, Prem Narayan, Sunil Kesarwani, Ramlochan, Masoom Kesarwani along with corporation officials and fair committee members were present.
