Mauaima, Prayagraj: Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed launched a scathing attack on the BJP government at the local Chaupal. Citing frequent power outages, the poor condition of drains and pavements, the law and order situation, and problems related to UPI, he accused the government of being indifferent to the public’s problems. He also mentioned Rahul Gandhi.

Addressing the Chaupal, Ashfaq Ahmed said that power outages have become common in villages and towns. Farmers, students, and small shopkeepers are the most affected. Drains are clogged, pavements are broken, and roads flood with water whenever it rains. He alleged that claims of development have remained limited to paper. Speaking on law and order, the District President said that the common man is feeling unsafe. The administration’s response to even minor incidents is unsatisfactory. In the case of UPI, he strongly opposed the decision to impose tax on UPI transactions, saying that it is an additional burden on the common man and the Bharatiya Janata Party government should immediately withdraw it, otherwise the Congress party will protest against it from the streets to the Parliament. District Vice President Kaleem Altaf said that the BJP government is only making empty promises in the name of development, whereas in ground reality the public is suffering. While conducting the program, District General Secretary Shamshul Qamar said that the common people are not safe under the BJP government. The program was presided over by Block President Mohammad Farooq. On this occasion, Mohammad Shamim, War Room in-charge Saddam Hussain Siddiqui, Dr. Amar Singh Patel, Lucky Saroj, Guddu, Ansar Ali Sonu, Shishir Gautam, Shiv Murti, Mohammad Shakeel, Lal Muhammad, Mohammad Anwar, Ramesh Maurya, Shiv Prasad, Shafiq, Mohammad Shadab, Mohammad Mushtaq, Amrit Lal Gautam, Moin Uddin, Mohammad Farooq, Nawab Ali, Chhote Hotel, Mohammad Atiq, Pappu, Mohammad Alam, Mohammad Taufiq, Khurshid Alam, Iqbal Ahmed, Sameer Ahmed, people were present.
