Prayagraj: Under the aegis of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Pradesh District Prayagraj, under the direction of District Chief Commissioner and District School Inspector Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai, Basic Course Cub Master, Flock Leader, Scout Master and Guide Captain Training Camp is being organized at the Regional Training Center, Mafodganj, Prayagraj.
On the sixth day of the camp, the participants were flagged off from the Regional Training Centre by the Chief Guest Neeraj Kesari, Co-District School Inspector Prayagraj for a hike/tour through the search signs.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Neeraj Kesari urged all participants to follow the path shown by Lord Baden-Powell and fulfill their responsibilities as good Scout Masters and Guide Captains. He emphasized that Scouting and Guiding should not be limited to training alone; it should be integrated into one’s life’s conduct and lifestyle. This fosters discipline, a spirit of service, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility.
The training program is being conducted with the support of District Treasurer Jitendra Pratap Singh, Co-District School Inspector Prayagraj, and District Secretary Bharat Scouts and Guides Uttar Pradesh District Prayagraj Dr. P.P. Singh. Under the supervision of Assistant Regional Organization Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj Sundaram Shukla, participants are being trained in various activities and scouting-guiding skills.
Training is being provided under the leadership of Ramashish (Gorakhpur), Camp Director for the Cub Master category, Baby Khusnuma (Mainpuri), Camp Director for the Flock Leader category, District Organization Commissioner Guide, Vijay Sharma (Lucknow), Camp Director for the Scout Master category, and Renu (Raebareli), Camp Director for the Guide Captain category. Bijendra and Ramnaresh Pal are providing their support as assistant trainers.
A total of 85 participants are receiving training at the Basic Course Training Camp. Piyush Kumar Singh, ALT Scout and Assistant District Secretary, District Scout Training Commissioner Ved Prakash Bhagat, District Guide Training Commissioner Ms. Usha Kushwaha, Quartermaster Mahesh Chandra, and other officials and instructors were present at the program.
