Prayagraj: The enthusiasm of book lovers was seen on the second day of the ten-day book fair carnival on the occasion of Pitru Visarjan. Readers started coming to the fair since morning and it continued throughout the day. Readers of all ages, from children, youth to the elderly, were seen searching for and buying books of their choice. Stalls of Hindi and English literature, children’s books, preparation for competitive exams and informative books remained the center of attraction for the readers. Organizer Manish Garg said that the love received from book lovers on the second day as well is encouraging. This event is an effort to promote the culture of reading in the society and to connect the new generation with books.

The book fair carnival is being held from October 9th to 18th, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at Laxmi Narayan Vatika, Lowther Road, Prayagraj. Entry is free!
