Prayagraj: Sharadiya Navratri festival will start from Sunday in the temple of Maa Kalyani Devi Ji, which will continue till Tuesday 20 October 2026, on this occasion, Maa Kalyani Devi Ji will be seen in the grand new Navdurga form from 6 pm to 12 midnight, the entire temple will be decorated with flowers, fruits, vegetables etc., the Mangala Aarti of Maa Kalyani Ji will be performed daily at 5.15 am by Pt. Shyamji Pathak, the sequence of Maa’s darshan, bhajan will continue till 1 pm, thereafter, after Maa’s Mahabhishek and Shodashopachar worship, Maa will be adorned in the form of Shailputri, devotees will get to see the adornment till 12 midnight, Maa’s Maha Aarti will be performed at 7 pm and Shayan Aarti at 1 am by Pt. Sushil Kumar Pathak. Shatchandi Mahayagya will be performed by Vedic Brahmins from 8 am to 11 pm and from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm throughout Navratri. A huge feast will be organised on 19th October, Navami. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that under the Navratri festival, attractive electrical decorations will be done inside the temple and outside the temple premises.
