Flood of people gathered with faith

Prayagraj: Traditionally, the wedding procession of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram of Shri Mahant Baba Hathiram Pajawa Ramlila Committee was taken out in a grand manner. After the rituals and worship, the procession departed. Lord Shri Ram, Laxman, Bharat, Shatrughan, King Dasharatha, as the groom in the procession, several dozen road lights, DJ, Dhol Tasha Party, Punjabi Band, tableaux and thousands of Ram devotees joined the procession. Hanuman ji was leading the procession. The bhajans playing on the DJ were Bajaye Ja Tu Pyare Hanuman Chutki and he was attracting everyone with his style. The procession was quite long, the first end was at Johnson Ganj and the second at Rani Mandi. Throughout the way, flowers were showered on Lord Shri Ram and the committee members were welcomed by offering them refreshments. All the devotees were considering themselves lucky to have the darshan of Lord Shri Ram. They were chanting Jai Shri Ram Jai Jai Ram and were taking darshan by touching the feet with folded hands. The entire area echoed with the sky-piercing chants of Jai Shri Ram. Late at night, the Ram Barat reached Ramlila Maidan, where the marriage of Ram and Sita was enacted.

The Kotwali police were fully prepared to manage traffic. ACP Nikita Srivastava and Kotwali in-charge Sudhir Kumar Singh, along with their team, were engaged in security arrangements along the entire route of the Ram Barat procession. Civil Defence personnel were assisting the police.

Mohanji Tandon, Rajesh Malhotra, Rakesh Malhotra, Ramji Kesarwani, Amitabh Tandon, Sandeep Gupta, Raju Krishna Srivastava, Pandit Digambar Nath Tripathi, Sahil Arora councilor, business leader Abhay Kesarwani, Sushant Kesarwani, Anoop Verma, Anoop Kesarwani Vijay Chaurasia, Mohammad Aamir, Shagun Bhaiya, thousands of Ram devotees participated.
