Under the Inspire Award Standard Scheme of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, every school registers the innovations of a total of five students from class 6 to 12 online on the Inspire Standard Portal. When the innovative ideas of the students are selected, the Department of Science and Technology awards an award of Rs. 10000 in the student’s bank account. With this, they display their ideas as a model in the district level Inspire exhibition.
Giving the above information, District School Inspector P N Singh said that the online registration of students in the scheme is from 15 June and the last date is 15 September. He further said that
In line with the instructions of the Director General (School Education), in order to register the quality innovations of five students from each school of the district on the Inspire portal on time, September 4 will be celebrated as Inspire Idea Enrollment Day in the district.
Wide publicity of the Inspire Standard Scheme among the students and on the occasion of Inspire Idea Enrollment Day on September 4, all the Principals / Headmasters of basic and secondary education of the district will ensure that the five best original and innovative quality ideas / Ideas selected at the school level are enrolled online on the Inspire portal. By holding a meeting of the Principals of all the Government, non-government aided and recognized High Schools and Inter Colleges of the district, he directed to ensure enrollment of five ideas from each school on the enrollment day. For Inspire enrollment, the Nodal Principal cum District School Inspector Jitendra Pratap Singh of all the blocks of the district and the Coordinator District Science Club Dr. Lalji Yadav were directed to complete the Inspire enrollment within the stipulated period.
