Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of the Hindu New Year, a grand procession was organized by the Poonam Sant Mahila and Vikas Samiti. The procession began with participants riding horses, elephants, and camels, waving saffron and national flags, filling the entire atmosphere with religious fervor and patriotism. The procession was inaugurated and presided over by the organization’s National President, the revered Mrs. Poonam Sant. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, the respected Kaushalyanand Giri Ji, was present as the chief guest. On this occasion, National President Poonam Sant Ji expressed her views on the significance of the Hindu New Year and encouraged society to remain connected to its culture, traditions, and values. Chief Guest Kaushalyanand Giri Ji then offered his blessings.
In the Shobha Yatra, the Sakhis of the organization participated by presenting Dandiya dance wearing traditional costumes of different states. Along with this, by ringing bells and blowing conch shells, the Sakhis made the entire atmosphere supernatural and devotional. The large number of women present, under the leadership of Vishal Prabhu Ji, gave a special spiritual form to the Yatra by chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra and bhajans. Hundreds of office bearers and Sakhis of the organization were present in this Shobha Yatra. This grand Shobha Yatra was the center of attraction in the entire area and was successful in giving the message of unity, culture and patriotism to the society on the occasion of Hindu New Year.
