Sangam City’s pride increased by winning 8 medals including 6 gold in national competition held in Bhubaneswar
Prayagraj: The athletes of Khelgaon Public School, Prayagraj, created history by performing brilliantly at the Junior and Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship 2026 (25.04.2026 to 28.04.2026) held in Bhubaneswar. The talented gymnasts of the school won a total of 8 medals, including 6 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal. It is particularly noteworthy that out of the total 8 gold medals in the competition, 6 gold medals were won by the athletes of Khelgaon Public School alone, bringing laurels to the school.
The flag of was hoisted. Harshit D., Zaid Ansari, Soham Atre, Shashwat Kothavale and Rigu Srivastava had a special contribution in this historic achievement, whose hard work, discipline and excellent performance made everyone proud.
Harshchit D. displayed excellent performance in this competition and set a new record by winning a total of 6 gold medals (Team Event – Gold Medal, All Round – Gold Medal, Floor Exercise – Gold Medal, Still Rings – Gold Medal, Vaulting Table – Gold Medal, Horizontal Bars – Gold Medal). Meanwhile, Mohammad Zaid Ansari – Silver Medal in Horizontal Bars, Soham Atre – Bronze Medal in Vaulting Table performed excellently.
The Chairman of the school, Dr. U.K. Mishra, Vice Chairman, Anil Mishra, Director, C.P. Yadav and teachers congratulated all the winners and wished them a bright future.
