Prayagraj: To provide relief to the general public amid the scorching heat, Rotary Prayagraj Platinum installed and inaugurated a water cooler for cold drinking water at Subhash Square in Civil Lines. This initiative is proving extremely beneficial for passersby, local citizens, and the needy and demonstrates the Rotary Club’s commitment to social service.

This noble work was inaugurated by Dr. Ashutosh Agarwal, District President of Rotary District 3120. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Rotary’s mission is to reach every segment of society. Projects like these not only provide relief but also strengthen the spirit of service in society.”

Prayagraj Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani played a key role in securing electricity, water, and space for the event’s success. In his address, he said, “Providing cold and clean drinking water during the scorching heat is a commendable endeavour. This effort by Rotary Prayagraj Platinum is an excellent example of social responsibility and service. Such initiatives inspire other organizations.” His presence further enhanced the event’s prestige.

In his address, Dr. Pratik Pandey, President of Rotary Prayagraj Platinum, said, “The core motto of Rotary is ‘Service is First.’ In this spirit, the club has consistently engaged in social work. This water cooler project was initiated with the public’s convenience in mind, and many such public welfare projects will be undertaken in the future.”

Rotarian Manish Garg, in-charge of DIA, said, “This initiative has been taken to provide relief to the common people during this difficult time of summer. The club members have taken the responsibility of regular maintenance of the water cooler so that people can continuously get clean and cold water.” On this occasion, Rotary Prayagraj Platinum Secretary Rotarian Sanjay Talwar, Rotarian Sandeep Katyal, Dr. Subhash Yadav, Anuj Kesarwani, Prameya Mittal, former President Piyush Ranjan Agarwal, Nitin Chopra, Pramod Bansal, Pankaj Gupta, Dr. Sharad Jain, Vikalp Agarwal, Dr. Nitin Sharma, Sandeep Jain and DGRH Ajay Sharma along with other Rotarian members, were present.
