Prayagraj: Describing the recent mandate in West Bengal as historic, Rajnikanth, state coordinator of the Bharatiya Janata Party NGO Cell and former presidential candidate for the KP Trust, said that the dream envisioned by workers from Gangotri to Gangasagar is coming true today. This is not just a political change, but the fulfillment of a long-cherished pledge, which enshrined the vision of “one country, one constitution” and a harmonious society.
He said that thousands of workers in West Bengal fought against adverse circumstances. This fight against the alleged anarchy and appeasement politics of the long period of Communist rule and the subsequent Trinamool Congress regime was not merely political, but ideological. It is because of the workers’ sacrifice, dedication, and persistent efforts that the winds of change are being felt throughout Bengal today.
Rajinikanth described the role of the central leadership in appointing Nitin Naveen as national president as decisive, saying that visionary decisions and strong leadership gave the organization a new direction. The impact of these national-level decisions is being felt not only in Bengal but also in Assam, Tripura, and the entire Northeast. He also noted that regional social equations and leadership balance played a key role in garnering widespread public support for the party.
He alleged that the policies of previous governments fostered division and discontent in society, while the public now prioritizes a politics of development, good governance, and transparency. The people of Bengal have sent a clear message that the politics of appeasement and corruption are no longer acceptable.
Giving new meaning to the sentiment of “Maa, Mati, Manush,” Rajinikanth said this victory is truly a victory of the people—a victory of their aspirations, their faith, and their future. This mandate is proof that the people now want stability, security, and prosperity.
Congratulating the entire nation on this occasion, he said that Bengal will now embark on a new path of development. There will be rapid progress in the fields of education, employment, industry, and infrastructure, and the state will reach new heights. Finally, he said emotionally, “Now the darkness has lifted, the saffron sun has risen, the lotus of development and good governance has blossomed.” This is not just a victory, but the beginning of a new era—one where public service, national interest, and development will be paramount.
