Hindu and Muslim brothers distributed sherbet and water
Prayagraj: While the intense heat and scorching sun have made normal life miserable, amidst this heat, a beautiful picture of communal harmony and humanity was witnessed at Mansarovar Square in Bahadurganj, Prayagraj. On the sacred occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer, local Hindu and Muslim brothers together organized a grand service camp for passersby.
In this scorching heat, hundreds of pedestrians, rickshaw pullers, and ordinary people passing through Mansarovar Square were stopped and distributed cold sherbet, water, and biscuits. In the scorching afternoon sun, this cold sherbet and water brought great relief from the heat and brought smiles to the faces of passersby.
A unique example of Ganga-Jamuni culture was on display: The most remarkable aspect of this entire event was that members of both communities worked shoulder to shoulder to complete this service. Those present at the event said that this is the true identity of our city and country. Regardless of the festival, sharing happiness together and providing water to the thirsty in this scorching heat is the greatest religion. This magnificent sight at Mansarovar Square further strengthens our centuries-old Ganga-Jamuni culture. Arshad Naqvi, Safi Naqvi, Sami Naqvi, Congress leader Irshad Ullah, councilor Nem Kumar Yadav, Ajit Singh, Munna, Bablu, Taj, Babi, Ali, Qasim, Aman, Asad, Amjad, and Yasir were present on the occasion.
