Prayagraj: A tree-planting event was organized at the Regional Centre of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Prayagraj, on the occasion of World Environment Day. The Centre’s Academic Director, Professor Akhilesh Kumar Dubey, and the Chairperson of the Department of Women’s Studies, Dr. Avantika Shukla, planted trees at the event. Professor Akhilesh Kumar Dubey, Academic Director of the Centre, stated that World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5th, reminds us of our collective and individual responsibilities towards our planet and our environment. It is not just a one-day celebration, but a pledge to continuously strive to keep the environment around us healthy and green.

On this occasion, many researchers and students including Dr. Vijaya Singh, Subhash Srivastava, Rahul Tripathi, Devmurti Dwivedi, Pratyush Shukla, Rashmi, Birju Prasad, Jagjivan Ram Prajapati, Rohit Kumar, Abhishek Chandra, Pitambar Gautam were present.
