State Tax Dept holds meeting with business associations of City West

Info given on registration, returns, insurance and GST 2.0 reforms

Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh State Tax Department organized a business dialogue program at Makhan Restaurant in Transport Nagar on Friday to promote the benefits and conveniences of GST. During the dialogue with merchant organizations in the western part of the city, merchants’ GST-related problems were also resolved.

At the event, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Pratap Singh, Assistant Commissioner Dharmendra Kumar, and State Tax Officer Rajesh Singh informed traders about GST registration, return filing, the settlement scheme, the benefits of GST 2.0 reforms, and merchant accident insurance. The officials explained the benefits of GST in detail.

During this time, traders also raised their problems. Officials listened to all issues seriously and resolved them on the spot by providing information. The department appealed to traders to file returns on time and take advantage of the schemes.

A large number of traders and officials including Dharmendra Dwivedi, Dhananjay Singh, Rajesh Gupta, Atul Kesarwani, Gyan Kesarwani, Atin Gupta, Narendra Kheda, Pappu Kesarwani, Ramlochan Sahu, Satish Kushwaha, Ratan Agarwal, Anil Kushwaha, Satya Prakash Kushwaha, Chrisley Kesarwani, Sagar Grover, Ved Narang were present in the program.
