Prayagraj: To tell the farmers about the benefits of balanced use of fertilizers, the Department of Fertilizers, Government of India is organizing Fertilizer Pathshala across the country. Through this campaign, the Department of Fertilizers is spreading Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to the people to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers, promote balanced fertilizer use and adopt organic and other alternatives. In the same sequence, with the aim of making farmers aware about the harm caused by excessive use of chemical fertilizers, a fertilizer school was organized by the Department of Fertilizers, Government of India in the selected village Khanpur Dandi, Prayagraj under the Integrated Rural Development Program of IFFCO Cordet. Under which farmers were given detailed information about various types of nano smart fertilizers (Nano Urea Plus, Nano DAP, Nano Copper and Nano Zinc), bio fertilizers and bio-decomposers. 

In this program, Public Relations Officer of Phulpur Unit, Swayam Prakash, who was present as the chief guest, discussed about all the smart nano fertilizers and organic innovations taking place in agriculture and detailed information was given about the benefits of nano fertilizers in various crops. In this sequence, Dinesh Maurya ji of Sehgal Foundation advised the farmer brothers to increase the amount of carbon in the fields. Shatrughan Prasad, Alok Pandey and their other team from the Fertilizer Department discussed in detail the continuous decline in soil fertility due to the use of excessive chemical fertilizers. A documentary was also made on the interaction between farmers and agricultural experts. In the program, solutions to various problems faced by progressive farmers in farming were discussed in detail by IRDP in-charge Rajesh Kumar Singh. And the use of nano fertilizers, bio fertilizers and bio decomposers by farmers was explained in detail. Expressing his gratitude in the program, progressive farmer Ranjit Singh inspired the farmer brothers to provide soil samples and requested them to do farming as per the advice given by agricultural experts. In this program, Mrs. Pramila Patel, Rajwanti Devi, Shobhavati, Sita Devi Gudiya, Sarita, Asha Devi, Kamala Devi, Photo Kumari, Nisha Devi and other women and men farmers were present in the form of mother power
