Prayagraj: Dr. (Major) Jitendra Shukla, Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Motilal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj, has been appointed Additional Medical Superintendent of Swarup Rani Nehru Hospital (SRN). An office order was issued by the Principal of the Medical College, Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Verma.

According to the order issued, Dr. Jitendra Shukla has been given this additional responsibility to ensure the efficient operation, supervision, and effective implementation of the hospital’s medical and non-medical systems. He will also perform hospital administration responsibilities while continuing to work in his original position.

Dr. Jitendra Shukla is known for his outstanding work in the medical field, his disciplined approach, and his dedication to his patients. He received his MBBS and higher medical education from King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and previously served as a Senior Resident at the prestigious Lok Nayak Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

Based on his medical and administrative experience, his appointment is being considered an important step toward further strengthening the SRN Hospital’s systems.
