Meaningful discussions were held on various topics, including better utilization of the free trade agreement, reducing logistics costs, and strengthening the country’s export ecosystem.
Discussing the development, progress and development of Uttar Pradesh in the presence of representatives from various states of the country in the meeting, Minister Nandi said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh’s exports have more than doubled from ₹88 thousand crore to over ₹2 lakh crore. Under this effective ecosystem, dedicated wings like Export Promotion Bureau, Uttar Pradesh Export Promotion Council, and District Export Promotion Committees have been established in 75 districts. As a result of this, today Uttar Pradesh is exporting in more than 15 sectors and ranks first in the country with 79 GI products. Uttar Pradesh also stands at the forefront in the field of ODOP.
Minister Nandi raised several important issues to further strengthen and accelerate the state’s exports and to protect the interests of Uttar Pradesh’s exporters.
