Prayagraj: A grand recitation of the fifth chapter, Sri Sundarkand, from Goswami Tulsidas’ immortal work, Shri Ramcharitmanas, was held today at Prayagraj’s famous Shri Janeshwar Nath Temple in Awas Vikas Colony, Jhalwa. Dr. Sushil Sinha, co-ordinator of the BJP Medical Cell and outgoing president of the KP Trust, participated in this sacred recitation with devotion along with thousands of devotees, praying for happiness, peace, and prosperity for the residents of Vidhansabha City West.
Dr. Sushil Sinha said in his address that the first 30 couplets of Shri Sundarkand describe the divine qualities, ideal character and glory of Lord Shri Ram, the incarnation of Vishnu. Whereas in the last 30 couplets, life is blessed by savoring the supremacy, valor, unwavering devotion, intelligence and spirit of service of Shri Hanumanji Maharaj, the remover of obstacles and the savior of troubles. After the recitation, Hanumanji’s Aarti, distribution of Prasad and a huge feast were organized. Hanuman devotees took the Mahaprasad and sang the praises of Shri Ramji.
